Ashlee Bohanon, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker originally from Northern California. She gently challenges problematic areas while collaborating with clients to identify goals, develop actionable plans, and build the tools and skills needed to regulate emotions, regain balance, and restore peace. Outside of therapy, Ashlee enjoys traveling, participating in church events, and planning experiences for her social club of social workers. She is deeply passionate about the work she does and looks forward to partnering with you on your healing journey.

My Approach
About My Approach As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with over 10 years of professional experience, I provide therapy for individuals navigating emotional overwhelm, stress, anxiety, anger, and depression. My work centers on helping clients better understand their emotional patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create sustainable changes that support long-term well-being. Therapy is not about something being “wrong” with you—it is an intentional space for growth, self-awareness, and support. I help clients increase emotional insight, improve regulation, and develop practical tools that allow them to respond to life’s challenges with greater confidence and balance. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and goals. I use a collaborative, non-judgmental approach that fosters safety, trust, and openness, allowing clients to move at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is to help you feel grounded, empowered, and equipped to move forward with clarity and purpose. What to Expect in Your First Session Your first session is designed to be calm, welcoming, and pressure-free. We will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. This session also gives you the opportunity to experience my therapeutic style and determine whether we are a good fit moving forward. Strengths I Bring to Therapy One of my greatest strengths is creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. Clients often share that they experience a strong sense of comfort and trust in our work together, which allows for deeper engagement and meaningful progress. Clients I Work Best With I enjoy working with individuals who are open to self-reflection, growth, and gentle guidance. I am especially well-suited for clients who appreciate thoughtful challenges, a sense of humor, and a therapist who balances warmth with clinical insight while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
